Photography Workshops

3-day courses visiting Cheddar Gorge, the beautiful city of Bath,
Glastonbury Tor & more

All abilities welcome. There will be a maximum of 12 guests on the course. You will need to bring
your own camera equipment and will be able to view your best photos back in the studio if taken
on a digital camera

Visit great locations and improve your compositional skills, understand exposure and optimum image quality. Learn basic skills, digital techniques and advanced techniques. We will visit Cheddar, Glastonbury and Bath. Most of our time will be outside taking photographs with practical tuition. The price includes 2 days tuition from Tony Howell with some studio time. The day in Cheddar will include a guided walk in the Gorge (away from the crowds) with a member of Cheddar Gallery

Guests are welcome to bring their own laptops to view/download pictures if required. Facilities for creating CDs/DVDs of photographs will be available. There will be a critique session showing images taken during the workshop

Prices :-

- Single Occupancy £425
- Double Occupancy £350 (Price per person where room is shared)
- Non-participating partner £250 (where photographer pays Double Occ price)
- Non-Residential £175 (for local people)

Deposits

All residential holidays require £175 deposit. All non-residential courses require £100 deposit.
The balance is due within 8 weeks of the course. Please pay by this date.

Lyncombe Lodge

We will be staying at Lyncombe Lodge Hotel which is a family run business set in 230 acres of
woodland with stunning views across the surrounding countryside. It offers 14 luxury en-suite
rooms with tea and coffee making facilities and TV. The restaurant provides both an a la Carte
Menu and Sunday Lunch Menu offering a wide selection of fresh, quality dishes.
Prices include 2 days tuition, 3 days accommodation (bed, breakfast, lunch, evening meal and
some drinks). Extra days can be booked before or after the course. If transport is provided
to/from locations this is included in the price of the course too, although it may be necessary
to use your own car dependant on numbers. Arrival is the evening before the date given and
departure is the afternoon of the finish date given.

Non-Residential Courses

Where space permits all the courses can be attended by local people on a non-residential basis. All non-residential prices include tuition, lunch and drinks throughout the day. Evening meals can be provided at an extra charge.
