‘Hiya, I would just like to say a massive thank you for all your help in ensuring that the
delivery got to us on time. The picture was really good and the customer service we received from yourself
was second to none. Thanks again. Regards, J. Salter, Wiltshire’ (bought a framed print of this image)

I first photographed this view many years earlier on slide film, and knew that it deserved a re-visit with
my 39 megapixel camera. I came here last year and the conditions weren't right, but I planned to return
when they were, with a low sun. The cloud was perfect when I arrived, so I had to hurry without getting
excited. I used my own digital technique to ensure the grasses were sharp as well as the Beech trees
on the infinity mark. I then took 2 more shots to combine them later (known as focus stacking, to achieve
a really sharp image). The Trees and hill are the main subject, but the grasses and clouds are important
secondary elements. I'm delighted with the result - it was well worth the wait, and will print very large.
