Bristol has many photo opportunities; the wonderful SS Great Britain being just one of them. You'll need a 17mm lens to get the 'straight-on-from-the-front-close-up' shot as seen below (portrait image #5065) but my favourite time to photograph it is at night, especially with some fog. But don't just copy my images, work hard and look for your own compositions

Foggy night SS Great Britain

'Hi Tony, Many thanks for supplying the canvas print that was given to me as a Christmas present, the print looks fantastic and nicely compliments the Clifton Suspension Bridge print that I purchased from your collection a year or so ago. The density of the fog and the lights are such that the SS Great Britain can be seen in much detail, the print has the added bonus of having the Matthew docked along side. Both are a big part of Bristol's history. Kind regards', A. Summers, Clevedon (bought a canvas of this image)

'Dear Tony, If God created the earth and designed its landscape, He definitely wanted you to advertise his artwork. What a beautiful collection you have on your website, which can provoke even an illiterate like me to write a poem. Amazing, please continue your service' Gomathishankar Parvathinathan, Texas, USA
