Crantock Beach is also where the River Gannel estuary is. Another very popular beach so give it a miss in Summer, although you can get good photos at sunset time. It has good focal points; the two headlands and a small island. Photograph it from the dunes to get a good sweeping view with dune grasses as foreground interest. Don't forget to photograph the fantastic Holywell Beach nearby, made even more famous by the Poldark TV series
